Dr. Adriano Leuzzi is Head of Process Development at ReiThera, an established CDMO company based in Rome (IT) dedicated to the development, GMP manufacturing and clinical translation of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products, including genetic vaccines and vectors for Gene Therapy.

Adriano is trained in Cellular Biology (BSc and MSc)in Sapienza University of Rome and holds his PhD in Cellular and Development Biology in Rome (Italy). Before join ReiThera, he worked as Research Scientist in the Vectorology and Process Development Unit at Nouscom, an immunotherapy company developing engineered viral vectored vaccine for treatment of cancer based on Adenoviruses and Modified Ankara Viruses. Thanks to his cross-expertise and professional know-how acquired during several academic and biotech experiences from viral vector construction, process development, intensification and characterization up to tech transfer to cGMP manufacturing for vaccine and gene therapy purposes based on recombinant AdV, AAV, MVA and HSV, he is lead and coordinating the Process Development team at ReiThera.
