Ivana Gusić is a master engineer of bioprocess engineering and PhD student since 2022 at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology.
Ivana joined Teva in 2011 as an Analyst researcher working on analytical method development and validation. From 2018 until 2023 she was Manager of Method validation and Method development Department which was responsible for supporting Teva´s site wide world. Since July 2023 she is Senior Manager responsible for nitrosamine testing. Since 2019 she is actively working on the Nitrosamine topic.
Almost six years after N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) contamination was first identified, the toxic short alkyl chain N-nitrosamine issue appears on the way to resolution. In contrast, N-Nitrosamine drug substance-related impurities (NDSRIs) are still a burgeoning issue with many new NDSRIs being reported on a weekly basis. This session will:
